Reformer Pilates FAQ’s
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
“What do I wear?”
We recommend wearing active wear such as leggings and a singlet or t-shirt. We suggest something you can freely move in yet slightly tight so it doesn’t get caught in the machine. We change positions often so it’s important you are comfortable. Grips socks are also compulsory and can be purchased with one of our friendly staff.
“What is the cancellation Policy?”
Our cancellation policy requires a minimum of 9 hours notice. If a class is cancelled before the 9 hour mark, it will be re-instated. However, cancelling within 9 hours will result in forfeiture of the class credit. Unlimited Members will incur a $10 fee for late cancellations. Please cancel via the MINDBODY app only.
“It’s my first time doing Pilates, can I join any class?”
All our classes are beginner friendly, offering advancements and regressions. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class for an introduction to the reformer and the studio space.
“How do I book my first Pilates class and classes thereafter?”
Follow this link to the MINDBODY APP. You will be able to download this FREE app, search for INTEGRATE PILATES and then purchase your chosen pass and book classes via this app too.
“What do I need to bring?”
A pair of compulsory grip socks for your safety and hygiene purposes. If you don’t own a pair, we do sell them in the studio.
A friendly and good attitude
We do have open storage lockers for your shoes and personal belongings.
“Can I bring my child?”
Unfortunately not. All persons under the age of 16 are not permitted in the studio. We are a child free studio mainly for legal purposes but also to avoid any distraction to other clients as well as the instructor. We want all parents to be able to enjoy 45 minutes of complete “me” time - which we know is hard to get sometimes.
“I am on the waitlist for a class, what do I do now?”
Joining the waitlist automatically adds you to the class when a spot becomes available. If a spot opens up outside the 9 hour cancellation period, you will be notified via email and/or text. You can then accept or deny the spot. If you deny the spot your credit will be refunded to your account. If you accept or do not respond (resulting in a no show), you will be added to the class and your credit will be used. It’s important to check your MINDBODY account settings to ensure you receive email and text notifications.
“Can I do Pilates if I’m pregnant?”
We can cater to pre-existing clients up until 16 weeks pregnant in group classes. It is so important to keep the body moving in a low impact and safe way. If you are pregnant, we ask you disclose to your instructor so we can make the necessary modifications. We require a medical certificate to ensure you are not a high risk pregnancy.
“What facilities are available?”
We have bathrooms on site (no showers) and water available so you can fill up your drink bottles and change after class if needed.
